See the four players being backed to score big in the midweek matches

The Scout is tipping four players for big success in Gameweek 29 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Tuesday's 18:00 GMT deadline, to help managers gain an edge over their mini-league rivals.

Antoine Semenyo (Man City) £8.2m

Erling Haaland’s (£14.8m) recent injury niggles have allowed the midfielder to establish himself as Manchester City’s top-performing player since joining from AFC Bournemouth.

Semenyo’s decisive effort in his side’s 1-0 win at Leeds United on Saturday evening took his tally to 45 points in his seven matches under Pep Guardiola, more than any team-mate.

Having played as a winger for Bournemouth, the Ghana international has recently featured in a central support role in a new 4-2-2-2 formation. However, Haaland’s absence against Leeds allowed him to play up front alongside Omar Marmoush (£8.3m).

The underlying statistics also back up Semenyo's potential, with his 15 shots and 11 shots in the box over those last seven Gameweeks both team-leading totals.

Should Haaland fail to recover in time for Man City’s home match against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening, Semenyo has to be among the very best captaincy options for Gameweek 29.

Forest have been struggling to keep out their opponents on the road, managing just one clean sheet over their last seven such contests.

It is worth noting that City don't have a fixture in Gameweek 31, due to their involvement in the EFL Cup final versus Arsenal, so their players won't score any points.

Jarrod Bowen (West Ham) £7.5m

West Ham United’s talisman visits Fulham on Wednesday evening in his most consistent form of 2025/26 Fantasy.

Bowen has blanked just once over the last six Gameweeks thanks to his all-round style of play, scoring twice and supplying three assists, as well as earning four points for his defensive contributions

Indeed, his total of 38 points during that spell ranks joint-second among forwards behind the 49 points of Chelsea’s Joao Pedro (£7.6m).

Notably, Bowen’s fixture-proof potential has been very much in evidence of late, with a goal against Chelsea and assists against Manchester United and Liverpool.

Fulham, meanwhile, have struggled defensively of late and are without a clean sheet over the last 10 Gameweeks.

Benjamin Sesko (Man Utd) £7.3m

The forward enjoyed a successful first start under Man Utd head coach Michael Carrick at the weekend by scoring the winner at home to Crystal Palace.

Prior to that 2-1 victory over the Eagles on Sunday afternoon, Sesko had scored in three of the previous four Gameweeks as a substitute, including his side’s solitary efforts against West Ham and Everton in Gameweeks 26-27.

That form allowed him to replace Bryan Mbeumo (£8.7m) as the Red Devils’ centre-forward in Carrick’s 4-2-3-1 formation, with the Cameroon star shifting back to his customary role on the right flank.

Sesko looks set to retain his starting role against Newcastle United in midweek thanks to his growing impact on the Man Utd attack.

And a look at Newcastle’s defensive numbers suggest the Slovenian can continue his prolific scoring streak.

The Magpies have conceded at least twice in seven of their last eight home matches across all competitions.

In their last four matches in the Premier League at St James’ Park, Eddie Howe’s side have conceded three goals against each of Leeds, Brentford and Everton.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Everton) £5.0m

A home encounter with Burnley gives Everton’s budget midfielder the chance to continue his fine breakout season in Fantasy.

Dewsbury Hall has scored five goals and supplied five assists across his 21 appearances for the Toffees, averaging 5.1 points per start.

Notably, Dewsbury-Hall has been Everton’s top performer in Fantasy since recovering from injury and returning to their starting line-up in Gameweek 24, producing a team-leading 27 points.

His five shots in the box and seven chances created both rank second among team-mates across those five matches, again highlighting his potential for goals and assists.

An ownership of just three per cent makes Dewsbury-Hall a great overlooked asset to help you rise up your mini-league, with the midfielder facing a Burnley side who have conceded at least twice in all but one of their last six league matches.
