The Scout’s FPL Gameweek 24 transfer radar

See the four players being backed to score big in this weekend's matches

The Scout is tipping four players for big success in Gameweek 24 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday's 13:30 GMT deadline, to help managers gain an edge over their mini-league rivals.

Bryan Mbeumo (Man Utd) £8.3m

After consecutive wins against the top two, Manchester United are looking back to their best under new head coach Michael Carrick.

Bruno Fernandes (£9.5m) is already a must-have for many Fantasy managers, but with the fixtures for United now improving, it's worth considering pairing him with Mbeumo.

26 West Ham (A) 2
27 Everton (A) 3
28 Crystal Palace (H) 3

The Cameroonian is proving a popular addition as the second most-bought player for Gameweek 24. Only Fernandes is ahead of him for transfers in.

Used as a central striker by Carrick in his first two matches in charge, Mbeumo scored in both contests.

The more advanced role looks to be benefiting him; Mbeumo is the leading midfielder for non-penalty Expected Goals (xG) over the last two Gameweeks, with 0.98.

No one in the Premier League can better his total of three big chances since Carrick took over, either.

Mbeumo's versatility to play on the right wing should ensure plenty of game-time, even if Benjamin Sesko (£7.2m) is brought back in up front.

Evanilson (AFC Bournemouth) £7.0m

With three goals over the last four Gameweeks, Evanilson is carrying some good form heading into Bournemouth's favourable run of fixtures.

The Cherries now have eight straight matches ranking three or lower in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), so the Brazilian forward has a great opportunity to add to his goals tally.

Evanilson could also be a convenient placeholder for Fantasy managers looking to temporarily move out Igor Thiago (£7.2m), with Brentford facing some tougher fixtures in the coming weeks.

Priced very similarly to his compatriot, Thiago could then be brought back in when the Bees' schedule turns more favourably from Gameweek 27.

Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) £6.7m

Chelsea's next four matches all score two in the FDR.

All four of the below sides are in the bottom five for goals conceded in 2025/26.

Fantasy managers ought to strongly consider Chelsea attackers for the upcoming run, then, with Enzo arguably the standout candidate.

Not plagued by the week-to-week injury niggles affecting Cole Palmer (£10.4m), Enzo also stands to benefit when his fellow Chelsea midfielder is absent.

We saw the upside of this in Gameweek 23 when Palmer missed out. The Argentina international was not only pushed into Palmer's more advanced No 10 role, but also inherited penalty-taking duties, netting from the spot in a 3-1 win at Crystal Palace.

Regardless of Palmer's availability, Enzo is an excellent option. Even taking penalties out of the equation, his total of 7.17 non-penalty Expected Goals (xG) ranks second among all midfielders.

He is even among the top 10 players in his position for Expected Assists (xA), too, with a score of 3.95.

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £5.8m

Munoz returned from injury in last Sunday's defeat to Chelsea, going straight into Oliver Glasner's starting line-up.

His importance to the Palace cause is clear; Munoz has never been benched by Glasner in any competition since the Austrian's appointment as head coach nearly two years ago.

Despite blanking against the Blues, Munoz is still averaging 6.0 points per match (ppm) this season. Only Gabriel (£6.9m) can better that among defenders, with 7.1ppm.

Arguably the most attacking defender in the Premier League, Munoz has registered an Expected Goal Involvement (xGI) of 3.79 so far this season.

Only two defenders can top that, and they've both played seven more matches than Munoz.

The Colombian has even contributed defensive contribution points in three of his 15 starts, highlighting his ability to produce Fantasy points from multiple avenues.
