Fulham winger claims December award for his fine first-time finish against Crystal Palace

Harry Wilson's superb strike with the outside of his boot for Fulham against Crystal Palace has been voted December 2025's Guinness Goal of the Month.

It is the second time that the Welshman has won the award with his first coming in November 2024 for Fulham against Brentford.

In a league of his own

Wilson is the fifth Fulham player to receive the award but the first to do so on multiple occasions. Jean Michael Seri and Andre Schurrle both won it during the 2018/19 campaign, with each scoring stunners against Burnley six months apart.

Ola Aina produced the standout goal in November 2020 with an unstoppable left-footed drive from distance against West Bromwich Albion, while Willian's curler against Nottingham Forest earned the Brazilian the February 2023 prize.

Among Welsh players to have won the award, Wilson's second success sees him move above Aaron Ramsey and David Brooks, who claimed their successes in October 2018 and January 2025, respectively.

How Wilson scored

Wilson's award-winning goal drew Fulham level against their London rivals, before they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Craven Cottage.

Palace were powerless to stop Fulham's goal, though, with Wilson playing a smooth one-two with Raul Jimenez before bending an unstoppable first-time finish from just inside the area past Dean Henderson.

The pinpoint execution was proof of Wilson's surging confidence this campaign. The 28-year-old has already enjoyed his most productive Premier League season, registering seven goals and four assists in 20 appearances.

His strike topped a shortlist of eight November goals following votes from the public and a panel of experts.
