Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been voted the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for December 2025, the first time he has won the award since the 2020/21 season.
The 28-year-old has also become Leeds United's first winner of the Premier League Player of the Month award since Rio Ferdinand in October 2001.
Calvert-Lewin was in inspired form for Leeds over the festive period, scoring in all five of his appearances and netting six times in total.
Watch: Calvert-Lewin's December highlights
He was integral to his team's unbeaten run in December, producing goals in wins against Chelsea and Crystal Palace (two) and providing crucial equalisers against both Brentford and Sunderland.
His penalty also helped to instigate a thrilling comeback in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool.
This is the second time that Calvert-Lewin has won the award having previously done so September 2020 after scoring five times in three matches for previous club Everton.
He is the first player from a promoted club to claim the prize since Teemu Pukki in August 2019, for Daniel Farke's Norwich City, who is now Calvert-Lewin's head coach at Leeds.
Calvert-Lewin's golden run
After managing one goal in his opening 10 appearances of the campaign, Calvert-Lewin's purple patch began at the end of November when he was on target in a spirited 3-2 loss to Manchester City.
That strike evidently provided a confidence boost for the England international, despite the defeat. Calvert-Lewin followed it with a clinching goal in a 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Elland Road at the start of December, after Pedro Neto had given the visitors a lifeline.
A few days later, Calvert-Lewin scored at home again via the penalty spot to prompt a late flurry against Liverpool. The Premier League champions looked on course for three points but Leeds recovered from 2-0 and then 3-2 down to draw in dramatic fashion courtesy of Ao Tanaka's goal in the sixth minute of added time.
Calvert-Lewin earned Leeds another point in their next fixture away at Brentford with a towering header eight minutes from the end cancelling out Jordan Henderson's opener.
Leeds' No 9 continued his hot streak with a brace in a 4-1 win against Crystal Palace just before Christmas, both clinical close-range finishes in the first half.
He rounded off an electric month with another important equaliser against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light after Simon Adingra had put the hosts in front.
That flurry of goals has lifted Calvert-Lewin into fourth in the Coca-Cola Golden Boot standings, behind only Erling Haaland (20), Igor Thiago (16) and Antoine Semenyo (10).
Calvert-Lewin topped an eight-man shortlist, which included fellow strikers Haaland, Ollie Watkins and Hugo Ekitike, after the public's votes on the EA SPORTS website were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
