Brenden Aaronson (Newcastle 4-3 Leeds)

Brenden Aaronson delivered a standout display despite Leeds United’s late heartbreak at St James’ Park, scoring twice in a thrilling 4-3 defeat to Newcastle United.

The American opened the scoring with a confident strike from just outside the box, rifling his effort into the bottom-left corner. He then thought he had done enough to earn Leeds all three points when he struck again with 11 minutes remaining, finishing clinically to put the Whites 3-2 ahead.

However, in a dramatic finale, Newcastle snatched victory with a stoppage-time winner from Aaronson's fellow Player of the Matchweek nominee, Harvey Barnes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle 4-3 Leeds)

Barnes stole the show in Newcastle's 4-3 win over Leeds, scoring twice, but most importantly, netting the winner in the 12th minute of second-half stoppage time.

After Aaronson had given the away side the lead, Barnes expertly slotted in the equaliser from Nick Woltemade's lay-off in the six-yard-box.

Chaos ensued shortly after as Leeds took the lead twice more before being pegged back by Newcastle. Barnes eventually settled an enthralling contest, swivelling his hips to volley home past Lucas Perri. The strike, timed at 101 minutes and 48 seconds, is the Premier League's latest-ever winning goal since Opta's records began in 2006/07.

Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth 3-2 Spurs)

If there is a perfect way for a player to sign off when leaving a club, it would be with a stoppage-time winner, and that's exactly how it went for Antoine Semenyo with AFC Bournemouth.

The Cherries went 1-0 down after Mathys Tel netted in the fifth minute for Tottenham Hotspur. However, a quick-fire double from Evanilson and Junior Kroupi gave the home side the lead before half-time.

Joao Palhinha's incredible overhead kick seemed to be the last of the special moments in the match, but Semenyo drove home a special finish from outside the box, to hand his now former club their first win in 11 matches.

Benjamin Sesko (Burnley 2-2 Man Utd)

Benjamin Sesko burst into life at Turf Moor, claiming a double within 10 minutes.

Sesko’s first goal, scored in the 50th minute, highlighted his expert movement, as he peeled off the Burnley defenders before applying the finish to Bruno Fernandes’ well-timed pass.

Just 10 minutes later, the Slovenian found the net again, this time with an instinctive one-touch finish from Patrick Dorgu's cross.

Sesko's two goals on the night matched the total he had scored in his previous 16 matches for Man Utd, so it will be interesting to see if he can kick on from here.

Igor Thiago (Brentford 3-0 Sunderland)

Igor Thiago’s red-hot scoring run showed no signs of slowing as his brace powered Brentford to an impressive 3-0 win over Sunderland.

The Brazilian striker opened the scoring on the half-hour mark, calmly rounding Robin Roefs before coolly slotting home. He doubled his tally in the second half, combining with Kevin Schade before expertly guiding a header into the bottom corner.

Thiago’s 15th and 16th goals of the campaign mean he has already set a new record for the most goals scored by a Brazilian in a single Premier League season.

Harry Wilson (Fulham 2-1 Chelsea)

Harry Wilson was once again instrumental as Fulham secured a memorable 2-1 victory over 10-man Chelsea at Craven Cottage.

The winger forced the game’s first major turning point, drawing a red card from Marc Cucurella after being denied a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Wilson then provided the decisive moment late on, firing home a rare right-footed finish nine minutes from time to seal the win.

The goal was the Wales international's seventh in the Premier League this season, continuing the brilliant form that earned him a nomination for December's POTM award.
