The Scout is tipping four players for big success in Gameweek 18 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Friday's 18:30 GMT deadline, to help managers gain an edge over their mini-league rivals.
Michael Keane (Everton) £4.7m
Everton begin an excellent run of fixtures in Gameweek 18.
Indeed, all of their next 10 matches score three or lower in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR).
First up is a trip to Burnley, who have scored a joint-league-low seven goals in home matches this season.
Clean sheets are the bare minimum we expect from our Fantasy defenders, and only four teams can better Everton's total of six shut-outs in 2025/26.
But Keane offers more than just clean-sheet potential.
With two goals already to his name, the centre-back offers plenty of attacking threat from set-plays.
Meanwhile, only four defenders have bettered Keane's total of 18 defensive contribution points.
Team-mates James Tarkowski (£5.5m) and Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.9m) are just one booking away from a suspension, so Keane, who hasn't been cautioned once this season, is the most risk-free route into Everton's defence.
Matheus Cunha (Manchester United) £8.0m
Fantasy managers seeking a replacement for Bruno Fernandes (£9.4m) should consider a simple sideways move to another Man Utd midfielder.
Cunha is coming into form, with attacking returns in each of the last three Gameweeks.
During that time, he's had a remarkable 22 shots on goal. That's at least nine more than any other Premier League player and, for example, as many as Arsenal's Declan Rice (£7.1m) has registered all season.
Man Utd's upcoming four-match run is one of the most favourable in the division. Gameweek 18 opponents Newcastle United have won just one away fixture all season, while the Red Devils' following three matches are all against sides in the bottom five.
Man Utd's next PL fixtures
Game-time should be assured for Cunha, with Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) and Amad (£6.3m) away at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and Fernandes potentially set for a spell on the sidelines.
And there is a good chance Cunha could inherit penalty-taking duties if Fernandes is out. The Brazilian previously took two spot-kicks for former club Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring both of them.
Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) £8.1m
After a slow start to his Liverpool career, Wirtz is beginning to turn in some impressive performances.
The German international has delivered two assists in the last four Gameweeks, also banking defensive contribution points in one of his appearances.
Wirtz is Liverpool's top chance creator in that time, supplying 10 opportunities for team-mates. Only four Fantasy midfielders can better that total.
And the Reds' playmaker is the Premier League's leading player for final-third touches in Gameweeks 14-17. Those 154 touches illustrate that he's getting into some threatening positions when the reigning champions attack.
With four of Liverpool's next five matches scoring three or fewer in the FDR, now is a good time for Fantasy managers to consider the 8.1 per cent-owned midfielder anew.
Given that Arne Slot has a lengthy list of absences, through injury and suspension, there is little risk of rotation in Gameweek 18.
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United) £7.6m
On the subject of players who are reliable starters, Bowen is the only forward to play every single minute of the Premier League season so far.
At a time of the year when rotation and minute management are rife, Bowen offers Fantasy managers peace of mind.
Coming out of a tricky run of matches with three returns in the last four Gameweeks, the West Ham club captain is fourth in the forwards' points table.
The Hammers' schedule improves drastically now: all 10 of their next matches score three or lower in the FDR.
That provides Bowen, who ranks third among forwards for both shots and chances created in 2025/26, with a good platform to score points from.
