The 2025 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations™ (AFCON) in Morocco continues with a number of Premier League stars in action as we get ready for the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Spurs’ Yves Bissouma will represent Mali.

Later in the day, Manchester United team-mates Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui will meet as Cameroon take on Morocco, while Sunderland forward Chemsdine Talbi could be in the latter's line-up.

Mohamed Salah's Egypt face Ivory Coast on Saturday 10 January, when he and Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush will come up against two fellow Premier League stars, Evann Guessand of Aston Villa and Man Utd winger Amad.

Liverpool's Salah has three goals in as many matches during this tournament for Egypt, while Amad also has the same number of goals for Ivory Coast, but has played a match more.

Nigeria, whose squad includes Fulham trio Calvin BasseySamuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi as well as Brentford's Frank Onyeka, will play against Algeria later on Saturday.

Following the quarter-final matches across this weekend, the semi-finals will be played on Wednesday 14 January, before concluding with the final on Sunday 18 January.
