For the second time this season, Erling Haaland (£14.9m) became the most Triple-Captained player ever in a single Gameweek, backed by more than 1.1million Fantasy Premier League managers.
However, unlike the previous occasion when he notched 16 points at home to Burnley in Gameweek 6, it did not go to plan this time.
Despite Manchester City scoring three times as they beat Leeds United 3-2, Haaland wasn't involved in any of the goals, finishing on two points.
It's particularly frustrating for those who entrusted him with the Triple Captaincy because going into Gameweek 13, Haaland had directly contributed to a remarkable 65 per cent of his side's goals, scoring 14 and assisting one.

Only once before has the chip being used in greater numbers, that was in Double Gameweek 25 of the 2023/24 season when over 1.3m managers Triple-Captained Haaland for home matches against Chelsea and Brentford.
The confidence that Haaland would deliver this Gameweek was so high that more than 97 per cent of managers using their Triple Captain chip used it on him.
It's also the first time that Haaland's EVER blanked when starting at home against a promoted opponent, having returned in each of his six previous starts against Premier League newcomers.

The 7,827 managers who bravely backed Igor Thiago (£6.6m) with the chip instead were rewarded with a 13-point return, or 39 points with the Triple-Captaincy.
Thiago scored twice and earned the maximum three bonus from Brentford's 3-1 win at home to Burnley.
It is the Brazilian's second successive double-figure points haul at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Mohamed Salah (£14.2m) failed to rub further salt into the wounds of Haaland's backers when in Liverpool's victory over West Ham on Sunday. The Egyptian was an unused substitute as Arne Slot rung the changes.

Thiago was also the most-bought player of the round, snapped up by 1.3m people, and in scoring he broke a run of poor form for the most-transferred in player. Each of the last four of these players had drawn blanks.
