Jean-Phillipe Mateta (£7.9m), transferred in by over 900,000 Fantasy Premier League managers ahead of Gameweek 11, failed to return against Brighton.
The Crystal Palace forward managed just one shot on goal and registered an expected goals tally of 0.08, his lowest of the season so far.
Mateta was the fourth most-captained player, with over 450,000 managers left rueing their decision to back the Frenchman.

| Player | Captained by | Points |

| Joao Pedro | 1,181,691 | 7 |
| Salah | 1,056,419 | 2 |

In contrast, More than 1.1million Fantasy Premier League managers are celebrating their decision to captain Joao Pedro (£7.4m) as he scored for a second successive Gameweek.
The Brazilian netted the second goal as Chelsea won 3-0 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It's the first time that Joao Pedro has featured among the top two captains in Fantasy, and is an increase of more than 620,000 from Gameweek 10.
It represents a quick turnaround in fortunes; he was the Gameweek's most-sold player last weekend and since Gameweek 7, no player has been shipped out in larger numbers, with over 3.6m showing him the door.
But a goal and maximum bonus in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in Gameweek 10 means he has totalled 16 points in two matches, giving his sellers cause for regret.
It's the first time this season that Erling Haaland (£14.8m) and Mohamed Salah (£14.2m) don't occupy the top two captaincy spots.
Haaland did get on the scoresheet, but also missed a penalty to limit his return to four points.
Despite the paltry return, the Norwegian has scored in five consecutive home matches and became the first player to 100 Fantasy points in the 25/26 season.
Indeed, knocked down to third place, it's Salah's lowest backing in over a year. He's been captained by more than a million managers in every round since Gameweek 9 last season. The Egyptian blanked for the fourth time in six Gameweeks.
Gabriel (£6.6m) was the fifth most-captained player, backed by 324,000+ managers, having produced nine or more points in each of his five previous outings.
But the Brazilian ended with only one point, doubled to two for captainers, after Arsenal drew 2-2 at Sunderland, conceding their first league goals since Gameweek 6.
