FPL Challenge and Football Manager team up for new series

Take on challenges and be in with a chance to get your own player profile added to Football Manager

A new Fantasy Challenge series is starting in collaboration with Sports Interactive's Football Manager game, after Football Manager 26 was released on Tuesday.

The series will take place over the next three Gameweeks, starting this weekend in Gameweek 11.

In each Gameweek, the Fantasy manager with the highest score will win the incredible prize of getting their own player profile added into the Football Manager 26 database as a newly generated ("newgen") player.

This means that YOU could appear in Football Manager as one of the young players who are coming into the game and becoming a must-have for managers around the world.

In addition, the top 26 FPL Challenge managers each week - including the winner - will win a code to redeem a copy of Football Manager 26 (PC/Mac) or Football Manager 26 Console (Xbox/PS5).

In each Gameweek, managers will pick a new 6-a-side team with an unlimited budget, scoring extra points for certain players who are linked to the specific challenge.

What are the challenges?

- Gameweek 11: Change The Game (All bonus points awarded are DOUBLED)
- Gameweek 12: In Possession (Players with a 90 per cent pass completion earn SIX extra points, as long as they have made at least 30 passes)
- Gameweek 13: Out Of Possession (Each recovery is worth one extra point)

Remember, you’ll be able to enter a team across the weekend in each Gameweek, after the deadline has passed in the main Fantasy Premier League game.

What is FPL Challenge?

In FPL Challenge, managers must choose a brand-new squad for every Gameweek, with each round of matches following a specific challenge that influences team selection due to how points are scored.

This means that it’s easy to drop in and out throughout a season to complete whichever challenges you fancy. But there are still plenty of incentives to enter a squad each week, as your individual Gameweek scores add up across the entire campaign.

Managers can make unlimited changes to their team before and during a Gameweek, although these must be made before a player’s club starts their first match of the Gameweek; after this point, they will be locked into (or out of) your squad for that round.

All of the rules and requirements for the challenge in each Gameweek will be detailed at the top of the Manage Team page.
