Cash highlighted both his defensive and attacking qualities in October. He helped Aston Villa earn their second win of the season in a 2-1 victory over Burnley before producing a brilliant pass that led to the winning goal against Tottenham Hotspur. The Poland international capped off an outstanding month by scoring the only goal in Villa's 1-0 victory over Manchester City, a strike that ended Man City's nine-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G2 A0
The Newcastle United captain scored two of his team's five goals in October. He scored a long-range screamer in a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest before producing a 90th-minute winner against Fulham.

Erling Haaland (Man City)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G3 A0
Haaland scored all three of Man City's goals in October, taking him to 11 Premier League goals for the season, five more than any other player. The Norwegian's first goal was a showcase of power and precision as he shrugged off the challenge of Brentford defender Sepp van den Berg to secure a 1-0 away victory and give Pep Guardiola his 250th top-flight win in charge of Man City. Haaland followed that up with a second-half double in a 2-0 success over Everton that moved him up to 96 career Premier League goals.

Junior Kroupi (AFC Bournemouth)
P2 W1 D1 L0 G3 A0
The 19-year-old Frenchman was in electric form as he scored three times in just two matches for Bournemouth. He marked his full debut for the Cherries with a brace in a 3-3 draw at Crystal Palace and then scored the second goal in a 2-0 win against Forest.

Bryan Mbeumo (Man Utd)
P3 W3 D0 L0 G3 A1
Mbeumo enjoyed a stellar October for Manchester United, with his four goal involvements helping them win all three league matches. He created the opener in a 2-0 home win over Sunderland, before taking just 62 seconds to score at Liverpool, helping United secure a first Premier League win at Anfield since 2015. The Cameroon international saved his best performance for the end of the month, as he scored twice in a 4-2 victory over Brighton at Old Trafford to end October with a league-high four direct goal involvements.

Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G1 A0 CS1
The French defender has been at the heart of Sunderland's excellent campaign so far. He put the Black Cats ahead during their 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and helped them keep their only clean sheet of the month. Away to Chelsea, Mukiele's long throw wreaked havoc in the home defence and led to Wilson Isidor equalising in a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory which meant Sunderland ended the month in fourth place.

Igor Thiago (Brentford)
P3 W2 D0 L1 G2 A0
Striker Igor Thiago continued his impressive form in front of goal, scoring twice in three matches during October. Away to West Ham United, the Brazilian scored the opening goal en route to a 2-0 win. He then converted a penalty which proved decisive in a 3-2 victory over defending champions Liverpool. He is now level with Antoine Semenyo on six goals in the league, only behind Haaland in the Golden Boot race.

Jurrien Timber (Arsenal)
P3 W3 D0 L0 G A0 CS3
Arsenal's right-back had a dominant month, with no side able to score past the Gunners' mean defence in October. The Dutchman's physical strength and technical precision have made him a nightmare for opposition wingers, with Timber helping the Premier League leaders to three successive London derby wins, over West Ham, Fulham and Palace.
