Matchweek 9 of the 2025/26 Premier League season featured some outstanding individual performances.
We picked out eight of the best and invited you to vote for your Premier League Player of the Matchweek.
You had until 12:00 GMT on Tuesday 28 October to cast your vote. The result will be announced later in the day.
Brenden Aaronson (Leeds 2-1 West Ham)
The American forward capped a tireless display with a goal as Leeds edged past West Ham at Elland Road.
Aaronson was at the heart of Leeds’ attacking play, recording three shots, two chances created and three successful dribbles from three attempts.
His first-half finish set the tone for a confident team performance, while he also hit the crossbar after a brilliant run from deep inside his own half.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal 1-0 Crystal Palace)
Eze produced a match-winning display against his former club, scoring his first Premier League goal for Arsenal to send the Gunners four points clear at the top.
The midfielder delivered the decisive moment of quality midway through the second half, acrobatically volleying home from inside the penalty area to secure all three points at Emirates Stadium.

Zian Flemming (Wolves 2-3 Burnley)
Flemming marked only his second Premier League start with a clinical double, scoring twice inside the opening 30 minutes as Burnley claimed a dramatic win at Molineux.
The Dutch forward's all-round performance was impressive — he recorded three shots on target, made six touches in the opposition box, and won 14 duels as Burnley secured a crucial late away victory.

Michael Kayode (Brentford 3-2 Liverpool)
Kayode once again showcased his threat from long throw-ins as Brentford stunned Liverpool in an entertaining contest.
The right-back played a major role in the opener, launching a throw-in that was flicked on by Kristoffer Ajer for Dango Ouattara to fire home.
Kayode was defensively solid throughout, winning all five of his duels, reclaiming possession seven times, and making three clearances in a superb all-round display.

Bryan Mbeumo (Man Utd 4-2 Brighton & HA)
Mbeumo continued his fine run of form with a decisive role at Old Trafford, scoring twice as Man Utd overcame Brighton in a thrilling 4-2 win.
The Cameroon international struck his side's third and fourth goals to seal their third consecutive victory, combining clinical finishing with tireless energy in attack.
He also topped the team rankings for both shots on target (three) and chances created (two), highlighting his growing influence under Ruben Amorim.

Amadou Onana (Aston Villa 1-0 Man City)
Onana delivered a commanding midfield performance as Aston Villa edged past Manchester City at Villa Park.
The Belgian controlled the tempo in the centre of the pitch, breaking up play and disrupting Man City’s rhythm with his physicality and intelligent positioning.
His composure in possession and work rate without the ball helped Villa secure a fourth successive league victory.

Micky van de Ven (Everton 0-3 Spurs)
Van de Ven produced a big display at Hill Dickinson Stadium, scoring twice in the first half to set Spurs on their way to a 3-0 win.
The Dutch defender powered in two headers from corners before the break to put his side in control, becoming the first Spurs defender to net a brace in the Premier League since Jan Vertonghen in 2013.
Van de Ven also topped the match rankings for accurate passes (63), touches (86) and interceptions (three), crowning a captain’s performance full of leadership and defensive quality.

Granit Xhaka (Chelsea 1-2 Sunderland)
Xhaka delivered a composed and assured display in midfield as Sunderland earned an impressive victory at Stamford Bridge to continue their remarkable start to the season.
The Swiss international won 80 per cent of his ground duels, completed two tackles and made one interception, helping his side retain possession and control the tempo in key moments of the match.
