In Gameweek 8 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League, 38 players have earned defensive contribution points.
As a reminder, defenders need to reach a combined total of 10 clearances, blocks, interceptions or tackles (CBIT) to earn two Fantasy points, while midfielders and forwards need 12 CBIT and recoveries.
There are 21 defenders and 17 midfielders who have reached the required threshold for the additional FPL points in Gameweek 8.
Marcos Senesi (£5.0m) and James Tarkowski (£5.5m) have continued their excellent run of defensive contributions, each picking up two Fantasy points in seven of their eight appearances this season.
But Fulham's Joachim Andersen (£4.5m) was unable to join them on seven successful outings after picking up an injury during the first half against Arsenal.
