Austria, Belgium, Curacao, Haiti, Panama, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland became the latest countries to confirm their places at FIFA World Cup 2026, ensuring even more Premier League players are set to be involved in the finals next summer.
Hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, the competition will begin on 11 June 2026, with the final scheduled for 19 July 2026.
Which players could feature for their country at FIFA World Cup 2026?
Every single Premier League club is set to have representation at the tournament. For example, AFC Bournemouth have players who represent 10 different World Cup nations, the most by any top-flight side.
With six more qualification spots still to be decided by the playoffs in March, an even greater number of Premier League players could be heading to the finals.
