Captained by a season-high 5.5million Fantasy Premier League managers, Erling Haaland (£14.5m) continued his impressive start to the 2025/26 campaign as he heaped more misery on Mohamed Salah's (£14.4m) backers.
Haaland scored the only goal in Manchester City's 1-0 win at Brentford to claim a share of the bonus for an eight-point return, or 16 with the armband.
Curiously, it's the first time Haaland has produced a return in Gameweek 7 of any season in his Man City career. It takes his overall points tally to 70, his best-ever total at this early stage of a campaign.

In contrast, Haaland's captaincy rival Mohamed Salah (£14.4m) extended his worst-ever start to a season since joining Liverpool.
It was only in May that Salah set the record for most points ever in a single campaign, registering 344.
But that form has deserted him as he remains without a double-figure haul this term and has now recorded back-to-back blanks following his two-point return in Liverpool's defeat to Chelsea.
At the same stage last season, he had amassed 62 points compared to just 34 points this time around.

Antoine Semenyo (£7.9m) proved to be the best differential captain of the round. Handed the armband by 430,000+ owners, he registered 18 points in AFC Bournemouth's 3-1 win over Fulham.
Not only is it his best-ever return, surpassing the 16 points he totalled at home to Leicester City in Gameweek 38 last season, but it also extends his excellent record against Fulham.
In four starts against Marco Silva's side, Semenyo has amassed 38 points thanks to three goals, three assists and five bonus points.

It wasn't such a good Gameweek for those who placed their trust in Viktor Gyokeres (£9.1m) as he blanked in Arsenal's 2-0 home triumph over West Ham United.
The biggest disappointment will have been seeing Bukayo Saka (£9.9m) step up to take Arsenal's penalty instead of Gyokeres. The Swede appeared to be the first-choice penalty taker, having scored from the spot against Leeds United in Gameweek 2 and having received positive comments from his manager, Mikel Arteta.
However, it was last season's regular from the spot, Saka, who took and converted the penalty, denting Gyokeres' appeal.
The most-owned player in Fantasy, Joao Pedro (£7.7m) extended his run of blanks to three matches with a two-point return at Stamford Bridge. The Brazilian has mustered just one shot in that time.
Managers now have a decision to make about whether to keep or sell him.
Chelsea embark on a kind run of matches from Gameweek 8, with three of their next five opponents rated at two in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR) - one being the easiest possible match and five being the hardest.
And, in further good news for his owners, Joao Pedro has not been called up to the Brazil squad this month, allowing him to rest during the international break.
