Antoine Semenyo (£7.9m) delighted his 6.7million Fantasy Premier League owners in the opening match of Gameweek 7 with an 18-point haul, his best-ever return.
The Ghana international was involved in all three goals as AFC Bournemouth came from behind to beat Fulham 3-1, scoring two and assisting another. Rewarded with the maximum three bonus points, he's catapulted himself to the top of the Fantasy player standings on 66 points.
Semenyo began the season in just 462,445 teams, but his ownership has increased almost 15-fold after being included among the four most-bought players in each of the last six Gameweeks.
He's gone from being the 76th most-selected player, found in fewer teams than Alphonse Areola (£4.3m), to the third most-selected player, owned by 56.0 per cent of Fantasy bosses.

It wasn't such good news for Semenyo's team-mate Marcos Senesi (£4.9m), however, as the most-bought defender of the round blanked for the first time this season.
The centre-back recorded just seven defensive contributions at home to Fulham, three below the threshold required to earn two Fantasy points. It was his lowest tally in any match across the opening seven Gameweeks.

Elsewhere, Erling Haaland (£14.5m), disproved the "curse" of the most-bought player of the round for the second successive Gameweek with the only goal in Manchester City's 1-0 win at Brentford. Up until Gameweek 6, the most-transferred in player had failed to produce immediate returns.
Gabriel (£6.2m) also repaid his 639,000+ new owners with immediate returns claiming a clean sheet, a share of the bonus, and two defensive contribution points as Arsenal beat West Ham United 2-0. It's the third time in four matches that he's picked up the two available defensive contribution points.
The five most-sold players justified the decision of their sellers as they all either blanked or, in the case of Trevoh Chalobah (£5.1m), missed out through suspension.
