The Scout’s FPL Gameweek 7 transfer radar

See four players backed by The Scout to score big in this weekend's matches

The Scout is tipping four players for big success in Gameweek 7 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League ahead of Friday's 18:30 BST deadline, to help managers gain an edge over their mini-league rivals.

Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal) £6.2m

Gameweek 7 marks the beginning of a favourable fixtures run for Arsenal.

Their next six matches all score three or fewer in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), meaning that it's the ideal time for Fantasy managers to transfer in a Gunner or two.

First up is the visit of West Ham United, who have conceded more set-piece goals, eight, than any other Premier League team in 2025/26.

Meanwhile, Arsenal's tally of seven goals scored from free-kicks and corners is the best in the division.

It looks like a great match-up for Gabriel, then, who netted from a dead-ball situation as recently as Gameweek 6. He also scored three goals from set plays last season, a tally that only one other defender could better.

At the other end of the pitch, the Gunners already boast the joint-defensive record in the division despite a tricky start that included fixtures against Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle United. No team has conceded fewer goals than their three.

Ismaila Sarr (Crystal Palace) £6.4m

Crystal Palace's Senegalese winger returned from injury in style in Gameweek 6, scoring his side's winner and scooping maximum bonus points for an 11-point haul.

That was Sarr's third goal in just four league matches.

His underlying numbers back up this good form. Of all Fantasy midfielders to have started at least one Premier League match this season, Sarr's average of 125 minutes per expected goal (xG) is the best.

And no midfielder can better his total of four shots from inside the six-yard box, another good indicator that he's picking up some excellent goalscoring positions.

Palace face fellow high flyers AFC Bournemouth and Arsenal in the upcoming weeks, so the fixtures are a mixed bag.

That shouldn't be a deterrent to Fantasy managers interested in Sarr, who has proven that he is capable of finding the net against any calibre of opponent.

He's already scored against Liverpool, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest this season, three sides who finished above the Eagles in 2024/25 and qualified for Europe.

Yankuba Minteh (Brighton and Hove Albion) £5.9m

Brighton's Gambian international has been in fine form of late, delivering an attacking return in each of the last three Gameweeks.

In the match before that, Minteh demonstrated his versatility by picking up defensive contribution points against Manchester City.

Again, like Sarr, the underlying figures support this pick.

Minteh's total of 10 shots in the box is a tally that only two midfielders can better.

And his non-penalty expected goal involvement (NPxGI) tally of 2.59 is fifth-best among players in his Fantasy position.

With none of the Seagulls' next nine matches scoring any higher than three in the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), now could be an ideal time for FPL managers to transfer in the budget-friendly Minteh.

Wilson Isidor (Sunderland) £5.6m

Speaking of low-cost Fantasy gems, Isidor is currently FPL's second-best-value forward, returning 4.8 points per million spent.

Finding the net on three occasions already, he's cemented his place in Regis Le Bris' starting XI in the last three Gameweeks after beginning the season as an impact substitute.

He's been getting plenty of chances in an impressive Sunderland side, too.

Among forwards who have started at least one Premier League match in 2025/26, Isidor's rate of 22.8 minutes per shot is second only to the much more expensive Erling Haaland (£14.4m).

Up next for Isidor and the Black Cats are Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, two of the four sides yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet.

While Bryan Brobbey (£5.5m) and Eliezer Mayenda (£5.5m) will continue to challenge for Isidor's place, the centre-forward spot is his to lose on current form - so he's a great short-term pick-up for anyone considering a Bench Boost in Gameweek 7 or 8, especially.
