Did you beat the icon? See Manny's points in FPL Challenge

Find out how well Manny's team performed in Gameweek 5, when Liverpool and Everton players scored DOUBLE points

The Scout takes a look at how many points Manny's team scored in the second week of the FPL Challenge Coca-Cola “Beat The Icon” event.

Managers were invited to beat YouTuber and Liverpool fan Manny over the weekend in the second of seven such challenges, with Manny ending up on 38 points.

Manny's side got off to a mixed start. The Liverpool fan owned Mohamed Salah for the Egyptian's assist, meaning that the midfielder registered 10 points, after his five points were doubled.

However, it was Cody Gakpo, rather than Salah, who Manny captained. Prior to Gameweek 5, Gapko had registered more shots than any other Liverpool player, with 11.

The Dutchman was also joint-first among Reds players for attacking returns, along with Salah and Hugo Ekitike, with three each, making him a tempting captain pick.

Gakpo's blank means that the midfielder registered just eight points as captain. Manny also had a two-pointer, doubled to four, for goalkeeper Alisson, after Liverpool conceded.

Ndiaye delivers

Thankfully Manny opted for players from both Merseyside clubs.

Iliman Ndiaye has provided a real attacking threat for Everton so far this season. Between Gameweeks 1 and 4, he created five chances, supplied three crosses and had four shots.

His two attacking returns during that spell could only be bettered by Jack Grealish among Everton players. In Gameweek 5, Ndiaye returned on his underlying numbers, registering six points thanks to an assist, as well as two defensive contribution points. His six points were therefore doubled to 12.

Up front, Manny opted for Chelsea's Joao Pedro. The forward, who had produced attacking returns in three straight matches, only managed two points in Chelsea's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.

This was the first match this season where the Brazilian failed to have a shot. Prior to Gameweek 5, Joao Pedro had registered nine attempts on goal.
