Leeds United climbed into the top half of the Premier League table following a 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, who remain without a point this season.
Daniel Farke’s side came from behind to score three times during a frantic first half at Molineux to claim their second win of the campaign, and first on the road.
Wolves made a bright start and took the lead when Ladislav Krejci marked his first home appearance for the club with a neat finish.
However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor all opened their accounts for Leeds to flip the contest and eventually see out the victory.
Leeds climbed to ninth place on seven points, while Vitor Pereira’s Wolves remain rooted to the foot of the table after five straight league defeats.
How the match unfolded
The hosts struck first after just eight minutes. A nice interchange between Tolu Arokodare and Fer Lopez put Krejci in behind, and the Wolves midfielder calmly slotted past Karl Darlow.
However, Leeds hit back through Calvert-Lewin’s 31st-minute header, which looped over Jose Sa following Jayden Bogle’s deep cross, before Stach's stunning 25-yard free-kick completed the turnaround eight minutes later.
Stach then turned provider just before the break, intercepting Emmanuel Agbadou's loose pass and feeding Okafor, who drilled past Sa.
Pereira shuffled his pack at half-time, making three substitutions in a bid to inspire a response.
One of them, Marshall Munetsi, twice called Darlow into action in the space of three minutes; the Leeds goalkeeper tipping over a header before holding on to a fierce volley.
The hosts continued to carry the greater attacking threat as the second half wore on, but Leeds held out for all three points at Molineux.
Further woe for pointless Wolves
Wolves have become the sixth team in Premier League history to lose each of their opening five matches in a season. They arrived into this game having lost their first four matches of a league campaign for the first time in their history.
Nevertheless, after guiding Wolves to safety last season, Pereira signed a new three-year deal earlier this week, and his players appeared rejuvenated as they made a positive start to this contest.
The Portuguese head coach handed a first Premier League start to Lopez and a first Molineux appearance for Krejci, and both players combined beautifully as the hosts drew first blood.
However, it proved a false dawn for Wolves. While there was not much to be done about Bogle’s delivery for Calvert-Lewin's equaliser and the quality of Stach’s free-kick, Agbadou’s sloppy pass caused them to concede a third goal before the break.
Despite their strong response early in the second half – and the return of Jorgen Strand Larsen from injury – they were generally lacking a cutting edge.
Wolves have the opportunity to respond at home to Everton in the EFL Cup in midweek, before they look to finally get their first Premier League point of the campaign on the board at Tottenham Hotspur next Saturday.
Leeds regain clinical edge
Leeds continued their impressive record against Wolves, who they have now beaten in each of their last four Premier League meetings.
Farke’s side suffered late heartbreak at Craven Cottage last weekend, with Gabriel Gudmundsson’s stoppage-time own goal condemning them to a 1-0 defeat.
They were a little slow out of the blocks against Wolves and found themselves 1-0 down after Krejci’s neatly taken goal.
The signs did not look good at that point for Leeds, who had failed to win any of their seven previous Premier League games when conceding first.
The visitors had also only scored once since their return to the top flight, that coming courtesy of Lukas Nmecha's late penalty against Everton in Matchweek 1.
Nevertheless, Leeds' struggles in front of goal certainly disappeared during an emphatic end to the first half, with Calvert-Lewin and Okafor getting off the mark for the club.
Leeds will hope that gives their attacking threat a timely boost going into home matches against AFC Bournemouth and Spurs before the October international break.
Club reports
What the managers said
Vitor Pereira: "My opinion after our goal: we are not aggressive on the pressure. We conceded spaces that we cannot concede playing at home. We committed some mistakes that we cannot.
"The second half was better, trying to push them to force the mistakes, to create problems with crosses into the box, and we created chances to score. But we didn't. We have to work, must work and must improve.”
Daniel Farke: "It's always good for the players, the confidence, the forward players [to score]. For Dominic, for Noah. Anton had an impressive start to Premier League life.
"But it was also never in doubt as we created enough chances in the first game, sometimes you are a bit unlucky and then you have to fight and ask more questions. That's what we did today. We know we are capable to push opponents back and ask questions.”

Key facts
Leeds came back to win an away match in the Premier League after conceding the first goal for the first time since March 2022, also against Wolves, ending a run of 14 consecutive defeats on the road in the competition in games in which they went 1-0 down.
Wolves have lost four of their last 11 home matches in the Premier League after scoring first (W7), this after losing just two of their previous 71 home matches in which they went 1-0 up.
In Calvert-Lewin, Stach and Okafor, Leeds had three different players all score their first Premier League goal for the club in the same match for only the second time in the competition, and the first since September 2020, when Jack Harrison, Mateusz Klich and Patrick Bamford all netted against Liverpool, and for the first time ever excluding games in Matchweek 1.
Stach's goal was Leeds' first direct free-kick goal in the Premier League away from home since Ian Harte scored against Arsenal at Highbury in May 2003, while it’s also their first direct free-kick goal overall in the competition since Raphinha struck against Leicester City in November 2021.
