Scout Selection: Best Fantasy team for Gameweek 5

See the dream line-up, which includes double-ups on Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Spurs

The Scout doubles up on four clubs – Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur – in the best XI for Gameweek 5 of 2025/26 Fantasy Premier League.

Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk (£6.1m) and Mohamed Salah (£14.5m) are first up, with a home fixture against Everton in Saturday’s early kick-off.

The other three clubs are all on their travels later that afternoon.

Spurs’ Guglielmo Vicario (£5.1m) and Mohammed Kudus (£6.6m) face Brighton & Hove Albion, Forest duo Nikola Milenkovic (£5.5m) and Morgan Gibbs-White (£7.5m) visit promoted Burnley, while Palace pair Daniel Munoz (£5.6m) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m) are up against West Ham United

Salah is handed the armband, with AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo (£7.5m) named as vice-captain.

Guglielmo Vicario (Spurs) £5.1m

The Spurs goalkeeper offers multiple routes to returns against Brighton. Vicario is the top-scoring 'keeper in Fantasy on 29 points, combining three clean sheets with four save points and five bonus points.

Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) £6.1m

Liverpool’s centre-back has claimed a clean sheet and two bonus points in each of the last two Gameweeks. Van Dijk’s attacking threat was also in evidence in midweek, when he scored the Reds’ winner in their 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £5.6m

The Colombian has helped Crystal Palace to three clean sheets in the first four Gameweeks. Munoz earned nine points in his last away match, also collecting two points for his defensive contributions and one bonus point in a 3-0 win at Aston Villa

Nikola Milenkovic (Nottingham Forest) £5.5m

His aerial threat at free-kicks and corners will be a major weapon for Forest against Burnley. The Clarets have conceded 15 headed shots and 19 shots from set-pieces, placing them among the bottom-four clubs for both statistics.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £14.5m

The Egyptian's late penalty against Burnley last weekend showed why Salah remains Liverpool’s go-to attacker in Fantasy. He has been involved in four big chances, or situations where the player is expected to score – that matches the combined total of the rest of their front four.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest) £7.5m

Forest’s playmaker offers strong all-round attacking potential at Burnley. Gibbs-White’s hosts have conceded 51 shots in the box, at least 13 more than any other side.

Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth) £7.5m

The Bournemouth star already has hauls of 15 and 13 points to his name ahead of a home encounter with Newcastle United. Semenyo’s 11 shots in the box and six big chances both rank top among all midfielders.

Mohammed Kudus (Spurs) £6.6m

Spurs’ Ghana international can exploit a Brighton side who are one of only four sides yet to keep a clean sheet this season. Kudus’ nine chances created sit top among team-mates, while his six shots and four shots in the box both rank second.

Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal) £9.0m

Arsenal’s new forward has three goals and 18 points from his two home matches this season. The Gunners host a Manchester City side who have conceded two goals and lost to both Spurs and Brighton over the last three Gameweeks.

Joao Pedro (Chelsea) £7.8m

Two goals and three assists have helped the Chelsea star to a hefty 64 per cent ownership, making him the most-popular player in Fantasy. The Blues visit a Manchester United side who have conceded five goals across their last two league outings.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £7.5m

The Frenchman has the goal threat to exploit a West Ham side who have conceded a league-high 12 big chances. Mateta’s eight shots and six shots in the box are both TWICE the total of any team-mate.
