YouTuber Manny reveals his Gameweek 5 FPL Challenge team

Now you can see the YouTuber and Liverpool fan's line-up, do you think you can beat him?

YouTuber and Liverpool fan Manny has revealed his line-up for Gameweek 5 of FPL Challenge

This is the second week of the Coca-Cola and FPL Challenge teaming up for a “Beat The Icon” event, with a different challenge being set each week by football legends, pundits and top creators - and Fantasy managers being invited to try to beat them.

Pick your Challenge team NOW

This weekend, Liverpool and Everton players will score DOUBLE Fantasy points in the Merseyside derby at Anfield. It's the first match of the Gameweek, at 12:30 BST on Saturday, so don't forget to pick your line-up.

Manny's 6-a-side team, using an unlimited budget, features the maximum three players from Liverpool, but only one from Everton. It also features a Chelsea attacker, who plays against another of Liverpool's rivals, Manchester United.

In the United Kingdom and Ireland, managers will be able to go head-to-head with Manny by scanning the QR code on any bottle or can of Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and be in with a chance to win prizes.

Managers outside the UK will still be able to take part in the weekly challenges as usual, but will not be eligible to enter the head-to-head element and win prizes.

Here, The Scout explains why Manny's picks could score well this weekend.

Goalkeeper: Alisson (Liverpool)

Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in each of the last four Merseyside derbies at Anfield, while Alisson has registered back-to-back shutouts in Gameweeks 3 and 4 this season.

If he registers another in Gameweek 5 he would return 12 points for managers who pick in him FPL Challenge before any potential save and bonus points as a result of the double points.

Defender: Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal)

Arsenal have conceded only one goal in the league this season, the joint-best record along with Crystal Palace and Spurs. They have also kept three clean sheets, which is again tied for first.

Calafiori has registered 33 points over the opening four Gameweeks, a tally which is only bettered by his Arsenal team mate Jurrien Timber among defenders.

Arsenal's Italian has had seven shots this season, the joint-most top among defenders. He has averaged 8.3 points per start and has the potential for returns at both end of the pitch, despite a difficult fixture at home to Man City.

Midfielder: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The Egyptian has three attacking returns in Fantasy and added a goal in Wednesday night's UEFA Champions League win over Atletico Madrid to his season tally.

Salah has registered eight attacking returns in the last eight Merseyside derbies and is the most-owned player in FPL Challenge this week.

Midfielder: Cody Gakpo (Liverpool)

Manny has handed the captaincy to Gakpo. The midfielder has had 11 shots so far this season and has created eight chances for his Liverpool team-mates; both of these are team leading totals.

He also leads the way, along with Salah and Hugo Ekitike, for attacking returns at Liverpool, with three.

Midfielder: Iliman Ndiaye (Everton)

The only pick from Everton in Manny's team is Ndiaye. The midfielder has had four shots so far this season, as well as having created five chances for his team-mates.

Ndiaye is averaging 5.5 points per start this season, which makes him an interesting pick, given his points will be doubled.

Forward: Joao Pedro (Chelsea)

The new Chelsea forward has hit the ground running. He is Chelsea's top-scoring FPL asset so far, with 33 points, having scored twice and registered three assists.

The Blues visit a Manchester United side without a clean sheet so far this season and who have the forth-worst Expected Goals Against (xGA) in the league, with only West Ham, Aston Villa and Wolves expected to have conceded more.
