Scout Selection: Best Fantasy team for Gameweek 4

See the dream line-up for this weekend's matches, which includes double-ups on Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Fulham

The Scout doubles up on Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Fulham at both ends of the pitch in the best XI for Gameweek 4 of Fantasy Premier League ahead of Saturday's 11:00 BST deadline.

Chelsea forward Joao Pedro (£7.7m), the most-popular player in Fantasy, with an ownership of 64 per cent, is joined by centre-back Trevoh Chalobah (£5.1m) for the Blues’ visit to Brentford.

Crystal Palace and Fulham, meanwhile, play at home to promoted Sunderland and Leeds United respectively.

That earns Eagles pair Daniel Munoz (£5.6m) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m) places in the starting line-up, along with the Cottagers’ budget duo Joachim Andersen and Josh King (both £4.5m).

Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (£14.1m) gets the armband, with Liverpool star Mohamed Salah (£14.5m) named as vice-captain.

Nick Pope (Newcastle) £5.0m

A home encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers gives Newcastle United’s goalkeeper the chance to claim a third clean sheet of the campaign. Wolves have had a league-low two big chances – or situations where the player is expected to score – over the first three Gameweeks.

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) £5.5m

The Colombian is yet to blank this season in Fantasy, combining two clean sheets with an assist to collect 19 points. Munoz’s four goals and six assists in 2024/25 Fantasy further highlights his huge all-round attacking potential against Sunderland.

Trevoh Chalobah (Chelsea) £5.1m

Chelsea’s centre-back sits just one point off the top of the defender standings thanks to his major impact at both ends of the pitch. Chalobah has produced a goal, an assist and two clean sheets to collect 27 points ahead of the Blues' visit to Brentford.

Joachim Andersen (Fulham) £4.5m

Fulham’s centre-back is one of only 11 defenders to have picked up four or more points from defensive contributions across the first three Gameweeks. Facing a Leeds side who have scored only one goal so far, Andersen could also be set for his first clean sheet of the campaign.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) £14.5m

A trip to Burnley makes Salah one of the most appealing captaincy picks for Gameweek 4. The Clarets have conceded 37 shots in the box, at least eight more than any other side over the first three Gameweeks.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal) £7.5m

Having appeared off the bench against Liverpool last time out, the midfielder will be pushing for his full Arsenal debut at home to a Nottingham Forest side who have just appointed Ange Postecoglou as head coach. Eze was a big success in his two head-to-heads with the Australian last season, producing two goals, an assist and 22 points for Crystal Palace against Tottenham Hotspur

Antoine Semenyo (AFC Bournemouth) £7.4m

A home meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion gives the AFC Bournemouth star the chance to add to his two goals and an assist so far this season. Semenyo’s totals of nine shots in the box and five big chances are both more than any other midfielder in Fantasy.

Josh King (Fulham) £4.5m

Playing as a No 10 for Fulham, King is the only sub-£5.0m midfielder or forward to start each of the first three Gameweeks. He can offer outstanding value against a Leeds side who lost 5-0 at Arsenal in their only away match since promotion.

Erling Haaland (Man City) £14.1m

The Norwegian warmed up for this weekend’s Manchester derby by scoring SIX goals over the international break. Haaland ranks top among all players for shots, shots in the box and big chances, highlighting his huge goal threat against a Manchester United side who conceded twice at home to Burnley last time out.

Joao Pedro (Chelsea) £7.7m

Two goals, two assists and six bonus points over the last two Gameweeks have taken the Brazilian to the top of the forward standings on 26 points. That all-round threat can ensure Joao Pedro continues his rich vein of form against a Brentford side who lost to promoted Sunderland last time out.

Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £7.5m

The Eagles star welcomes Sunderland on the back of three goals in his first six matches across all competitions this season. An ownership of 10.7 per cent underlines Mateta’s potential as a great differential captain that your mini-league rivals are likely to overlook.
