Jackson Tchatchoua set the fastest speed of any Premier League player so far this season in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 3-2 defeat at home to Everton.
The Cameroon international clocked in at a rapid 37.30km/h in Matchweek 3 following his first Premier League start for Wolves since his summer move from Serie A side Hellas Verona.
Tchatchoua recorded the fastest speed by a player this season by some distance, just under 1km/h quicker than his fellow countryman Bryan Mbeumo, who recorded a sprint of 36.36km/h for Manchester United at Fulham in Matchweek 2, followed closely by Leeds United’s Dan James, with 36.14km/h at home to Newcastle United in Matchweek 3.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven is the fastest player EVER recorded in the Premier League, with a top speed of 37.38km/h against Brentford in January 2024.
Kyle Walker is second on the list. The Burnley right-back was timed at 37.31km/h for Manchester City against Everton in May 2023.
