With Fantasy Premier League managers facing several difficult decisions on who to buy, keep or sell ahead of the Gameweek 4 deadline at 11:00 BST on Saturday 13 September, some of the world's top Fantasy managers offer their advice.
Alexander Isak (Liverpool) £10.4m
Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Arne Slot wouldn't have spent a reported £125million on a squad player.
Liverpool have started the season strongly, with nine points on the board and having scored eight goals. Add Isak into the mix, with all that talent around him, and the stage is set for him to fire the Reds to another title.
He may be lacking in match fitness, so I might wait a week or two, but either Gameweek 5 or Gameweek 6 looks a great entry point to bring him in.
Verdict: Buy from Gameweek 5/6
Viktor Gyokeres (Arsenal) £9.0m
Andy North (@FPLMode): Arsenal's new Swedish forward hasn't had the best of starts, despite a brace against Leeds, but owners should be keeping him.
Man City and Newcastle in the next three don't look the kindest fixtures, but from Gameweek 7 it looks much rosier. He will be a popular asset from that point onwards.
If you are yet to invest, waiting until Gameweek 7 seems the sensible play. With the favourable fixtures and penalties in his locker, he'll be in an awful lot of teams in a few weeks' time.
Verdict: Keep
Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) £9.0m
Nick Harris (@WGTA_Nick): Many managers brought in Fernandes for the plum home match against Burnley.
The next couple of fixtures are tougher before a kinder run, but I would hold Fernandes given he still has multiple routes to points, following the introduction of defensive contributions.
So even if there is no attacking return, there is a strong chance of an extra two points, having reached the threshold for defensive contributions in two of the three Gameweeks so far.
Verdict: Keep
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £8.9m
Oscar (@FPLFocal): I own Watkins myself and there's a really strong temptation to sell him for Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.5m), given Crystal Palace have an appealing home fixture versus Sunderland up next. Joao Pedro (£7.7m) is also a great option given the injury to Liam Delap (£6.3m).
Transfers are so precious, especially at this time of the season as there's so much to learn and every Gameweek provides a huge amount of new information.
Therefore, I've got Watkins down as a keep for two more matches - and let's see how Villa look following the arrivals of Jadon Sancho (£5.9m) and Harvey Elliott (£5.4m).
Unai Emery's side have a trip to Sunderland in Gameweek 5 and Burnley at home in Gameweek 7, so I can't shake the feeling I may regret selling now, as painful as Watkins has been to own over the opening three Gameweeks.
Verdict: Keep
Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool) £8.7m
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL): Ekitike has started life in the Premier League well, but with the signing of Isak, who won't come into the team right away, owners will likely be sweating on minutes very soon.
He is a keep for now, but will become a sell very soon.
Verdict: Keep, but plan to sell in a couple of weeks
Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) £8.4m
Pranil Sheth (@Lateriser12): I feel like Wirtz has been a little unfortunate and his team-mates haven't found his runs.
With Liverpool having more possession in the upcoming games, I expect Wirtz to do really well given his high-volume chance creation and ability to get into good positions. A definite keep for me.
Verdict: Keep
Richarlison (Spurs) £6.7m
Gianni Buttice (@GianniButtice): Richarlison is an obvious hold and Dominic Solanke's (£7.3m) injury made the Brazilian a buy until the final day of the transfer window.
But Randal Kolo Muani (£7.0m) now provides competition for Richarlison, and until we see how the Frenchman settles in north London, I would avoid buying Richarlison for now.
Verdict: Keep
Jack Grealish (Everton) £6.7m
Utkarsh Dalmia (@ZopharFPL): Grealish looks like a player reborn at Everton, currently leading the league for assists, while he nearly picked up defensive contribution points in Gameweek 3.
At £6.7m, he's already looking like the talisman of this Everton team and is a great buy.
Verdict: Buy
Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest) £5.0m
Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Changing a goalkeeper is never a priority for FPL managers unless they are injured or suspended.
However, with Sels failing to keep a clean sheet in any of the opening matches, it is understandable why managers might be on the look out for a new 'keeper, especially with a trip to Arsenal up next.
From Gameweek 5 though, the fixtures improve, so I am likely to hold Sels. But if you are Wildcarding, I would replace him with someone like David Raya (£5.5m) or Robert Sanchez (£5.0m).
Verdict: Sell on Wildcard, otherwise keep
Tijjani Reijnders (Man City) £5.7m
Ben Crabtree (@FC_CrabDogg): There are a few players around this price point who could be decent options, but it's a mistake to keep switching to who scored last week. It's better to roll a transfer and then review.
Verdict: Keep
Marc Guiu (Chelsea) £4.4m
Pras (@Pras_FPL): I think Guiu is a sell (albeit not an urgent one), because I don't see him getting too many minutes at Chelsea.
So if managers want to use their Bench Boost chip before using their first Wildcard, I think it is sensible to sell Guiu and move to a three-forward structure.
Verdict: Sell
