Chelsea have announced the signing of winger Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
The 21-year-old Argentinian winger made 93 Premier League appearances for Man Utd and scored 16 times, including a bicycle kick at Everton that won the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award.
“It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club,” Garnacho told Chelsea’s official website after he was spotted at Stamford Bridge for this afternoon's 2-0 win over Fulham.
“I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special – we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy.”

Garnacho is among a raft of attacking signings made by Chelsea this summer window.
He joins after Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Willian Estevao all moved to Stamford Bridge.

His signing adds to a formidable array of attacking talent at the disposal of head coach Enzo Maresca, although Delap is set to miss a number of weeks after suffering a hamstring injury against Fulham.
Garnacho could make his Chelsea debut when they are next in action at Brentford on Saturday 13 September.
