It was an emotional night for Mohamed Salah as he added another goal to a Premier League record in Liverpool’s dramatic 4-2 win over AFC Bournemouth.
On a night where Liverpool fans and the club paid tribute to their former player Diogo Jota, who died in a car accident last month, Salah seemed determined to make his own mark for his former team-mate.
And the Egyptian, who was seen to get emotional in the pre-match tributes to Jota, succeeded with the fourth goal in stoppage time that sealed an important win for the champions.
He adopted one of Jota’s celebrations to pay tribute and was again emotional after the final whistle when applauding the Kop.
