Forest Women sign Chloe Mustaki
Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce the signing of Republic of Ireland International Chloe Mustaki. The defender joins the Club on a two-year deal from Barclays WSL 2 side Bristol City after a three-year stay with the Robins. Mustaki has enjoyed spells in England with Charlton Athletic and Bristol City as well as stints at Girondins de Bordeaux, Peamount United and Shelbourne. In 2011, a then 16-year-old Mustaki won the Women’s National League title in her debut season with Irish side Peamount United. The defender started both fixtures for the Republic of Ireland in their recent double header against former World Champions USA. Nottingham Forest Women head coach, Carly Davies, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Chloe to the Club. Her experience, leadership, and composure on the ball will be a massive asset to our squad as we continue to build for success. “Chloe’s professionalism and international pedigree speak for themselves, most recently playing in a double header against the USA. “We’re excited to see the impact she’ll make both on and off the pitch for the coming campaign.” Upon signing, Mustaki added: “I’m really excited to be here. There’s huge ambitions at the Club and I’m looking forward to being part of that. “I like to think I have a lot of experience that I can bring to Nottingham Forest this season both on and off the pitch, so I’m excited to get started.”
