Monday 2 February is Transfer Deadline Day. Here is everything you need to know.
What is Transfer Deadline Day?
Transfer Deadline Day allows clubs a final opportunity to strengthen their squads before the transfer window closes.
When does Deadline Day end?
The 2026 winter transfer window will close at 19:00 GMT on Monday 2 February. It has been open since Thursday 1 January.
When do other leagues' windows close?
To ensure harmonisation with other major leagues in Europe, the closing date of 2 February will also apply to the EFL, Bundesliga, Serie A, LaLiga and Ligue 1, who will all close their winter transfer windows on the same date.
But players may still complete a transfer away from Premier League clubs after 2 February, as leagues other than those listed above may have different deadlines.

Can signings be made after the deadline?
While the window shuts at 19:00 GMT, deals can still be announced after the deadline. That is because clubs have a two-hour grace period to complete a signing if they have submitted a deal sheet ahead of the deadline.
