Son matches Shearer and Henry with EA SPORTS Player award
Son Heung-min has been voted September 2023's EA SPORTS Player of the Month.
Tottenham Hotspur captain Son scored six goals in four matches as Spurs beat Burnley, Sheffield United and Liverpool, and drew with Arsenal, to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
He netted a hat-trick at Turf Moor, a brace in the north London derby, and the opening goal in Spurs' first victory over Liverpool since 2017.

Son's award gives Spurs an EA SPORTS double to start 2023/24, after James Maddison won August's prize.
It also puts the South Korean in elite company. He has now won the award four times in his career, matching Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Frank Lampard, Paul Scholes, Mohamed Salah, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Jamie Vardy.

Postecoglou makes history as Barclays Manager of the Month
Ange Postecoglou has made Premier League history by winning September 2023's Barclays Manager of the Month award.
Postecoglou is the first manager to win the award in each of his first two months in the competition, having also claimed August's prize, the first Australian to ever win it.
The last manager to win the first two awards of any season was Jurgen Klopp, in 2019/20, when Liverpool went on to lift the Premier League Trophy.

Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur continued their unbeaten start to the season through September, winning three and drawing one of their four matches.
His team put five goals past Burnley, scored twice in stoppage time to beat Sheffield United, drew 2-2 in the north London derby at Arsenal, and achieved a first win over Liverpool since 2017.
Postecoglou's decision to bring on Richarlison against Sheff Utd, in particular, proved to be an inspired one, as the Brazilian scored an equaliser in the eighth minute of added time before setting up the winner two minutes later.
The Australian beat fellow nominees Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, Eddie Howe and Klopp after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
Fernandes equals record with Budweiser Goal award
Bruno Fernandes has equalled the record for the most Budweiser Goal of the Month awards after claiming the September 2023 prize for his sublime volleyed winner against Burnley.

It's the third time the Manchester United midfielder has claimed the award, putting him level with new Luton Town signing Andros Townsend.
Fernandes made a clever run in behind the Burnley defence and produced a sensational first-time strike from Jonny Evans's long pass into the bottom corner.
The 29-year-old first won the award in June 2020 for his strike at Brighton & Hove Albion, before taking the prize for a second time in February 2021 after scoring with a stunning chip against Everton.

It marks the seventh time a Man Utd player has won the Budweiser Goal of the Month award, meaning United players have won the prize more times than those from any other club.
The Portugal international moves above an exclusive club of two-time winners, which includes Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Son Heung-min and Miguel Almiron.
Fernandes's goal was chosen as the winner by a panel of experts combined with a public vote, beating seven other contenders.
Sanchez wins Castrol Save of the Month
Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has won his first Castrol Save of the Month award after taking the September 2023 prize for his acrobatic stop to deny Aston Villa's Nicolo Zaniolo.
Sanchez showed quick reflexes to tip the Italian's powerful volley over the crossbar.
He is the second Spanish goalkeeper to win the award for Chelsea, after Kepa Arrizabalaga claimed the prize in October 2022 - also for a save against Aston Villa, which went on to be named the Castrol Save of the Season.
Sanchez topped a shortlist featuring five other sensational saves by goalkeepers across the month.
