Midfielder moves to Goodison Park from Man Utd for an initial fee of £20m

Everton have announced the signing of Morgan Schneiderlin from Manchester United for an initial fee of £20million, rising to £24million.

The 27-year-old midfielder has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Goodison Park, where he reunites with Ronald Koeman, the Everton manager with whom he worked at Southampton.

"I wanted to move to a club with big ambition and great expectations, to come in every day and work for something that you want to achieve because that's what drives you forward," Schneiderlin told evertonfc.com

He scored four goals in 26 Premier League appearances under Koeman in 2014/15, having been at Southampton since 2008.
