The Frenchman completed his treble on 74 minutes, wrapping up a fine team move to become the first Man Utd player to net a top-flight hat-trick since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side remain fifth but are now just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Sheffield United have dropped to eighth, five points behind the Red Devils.
