Hall of Fame 2025 nominee: Robbie Fowler

See the striker's best goals, assists and milestones as we profile the 15 players up for the vote

We are looking at the 15 nominees who have been shortlisted for the Premier League Hall of Fame in 2025.

Fans around the world are invited to select two of the 15 contenders via the Premier League app or at premierleague.com/halloffame, with the public vote closing at 12:00 BST on Monday 15 September.

The results of the fan poll will be presented to the existing 24 Premier League Hall of Fame members – including Sir Alex Ferguson, Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer – who will then cast their votes to decide who is inducted in 2025.

Robbie Fowler

Fowler was among the most instinctive goal-poachers in Premier League history. Rarely needing time or space to strike, he scored 128 of his 163 Premier League goals for his local club Liverpool

This included the fastest Premier League hat-trick at the time, as he scored three times in just four minutes and 33 seconds against Arsenal in August 1994, a record that stood until Sadio Mane hit three in less than three minutes for Southampton in May 2015.

He was fourth in the overall goal ranking when he played his final PL match in 2008/09, having added to his tally at Leeds United and Manchester City, and now sits ninth.

“I think the nickname ‘God’ sums it up really. He was a god to the fans but also the young players in the dressing room, growing up wanting to emulate his success.” - Michael Owen
