FPL team news: Walcott and Kane set to return

Both teams in north London derby get attacking boost as The Scout offers last-minute advice

Theo Walcott (£7.9m) has been subjected to a firesale this week with Fantasy Premier League managers losing the winger's services in their droves ahead of the north London derby.

Walcott has been prolific in front of his own fans, with four of his five goals arriving at home, yet heads into Sunday's encounter at Emirates Stadium with the most transfers out ahead of Saturday's 2pm deadline.

FPL managers have reacted to Walcott missing the Gameweek 10 win at Sunderland with a thigh problem, although Arsene Wenger is optimistic on his chances of being fit for Sunday.

One name that might well be soon finding its way back on to teamsheets is Harry Kane (£10.7m), who is set for a return to action.

Kane has missed the last five Gameweeks with an ankle injury, Mauricio Pochettino has not decided whether to start the Tottenham Hotspur striker on Sunday and could field Vincent Janssen (£7.7m) or Son Heung-min (£7.4m) in attack.

Kane, who was joint-second in the FPL standings last season, netted in each of his last two Gameweek appearances before his injury.

Arsenal's first-choice full-backs, Hector Bellerin (£6.6m) and Nacho Monreal (£6.0m), are expected to be available as the Gunners look to extend a run of five clean sheets in six at home in all competitions.

Leicester City will be without goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel (£5.0m) at home to West Bromwich Albion after the Dane fractured a hand.

Claudio Ranieri will turn to Ron-Robert Zieler (£4.4m) between the posts as he looks for a fourth Premier League clean sheet at the King Power this season.

West Brom's attacking hopes suffered a major blow after Nacer Chadli (£6.6m) had minor knee surgery. Since arriving at The Hawthorns, the Belgian has played a part in 75% of his side's goals.

Everton had mixed news in their quest to halt Chelsea's four-match winning streak.

Ronald Koeman welcomes back goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg (£5.1m) for the Stamford Bridge encounter but is without midfield Idrissa Gueye (£5.0m).

The Senegalese serves a one-match ban and the absence of his tenacity (no player has registered more successful tackles) will encourage FPL managers holding Eden Hazard (£9.9m) and Diego Costa (£10.4m).

Stoke City's quest for a fourth successive win was dealt a blow after Marko Arnautovic (£7.2m) was banned for the trip to West Ham United.

With Xherdan Shaqiri (£6.4m) a doubt due to a hamstring problem, Mark Hughes will be more reliant on Joe Allen (£5.2m) and Wilfried Bony (£7.3m).

The third most popular signing this Gameweek with more than 163,000 transfers, Allen's 10-point haul in last Monday's win over Swansea City was his third double-figure return in the last five fixtures.
