Launched in 2010, the Premier League Foundation, formerly called the Premier League Charitable Fund, is a registered charity (No. 1137208) and a registered company (No. 07331384).

Premier League Foundation Board of Trustees 

The Premier League Foundation is governed by the Board of Trustees.

The Board consists of a Chair and Vice Chair alongside representatives from the Premier League, Professional Footballers' Association and appointed Independent Trustees.

Meeting four times per year, the Premier League Foundation Board is responsible for overseeing the management of the charity and ensuring it is carrying out its charitable purpose. The Board takes overall responsibility for the charity and our performance.

The Board is Chaired by Christine Davies CBE, who was appointed Interim Chair in May 2025.

Premier League Foundation Executive

Board members set direction and give the Executive Leadership Team, who are responsible for the day to day running of the organisation, support and advice.

The Executive Team is led by Chief Executive Alex White.

Alex leads a staff of 29 people who deliver across a range of functions and departments including community, education, grants and impact, safeguarding, communications, and policy.

The Premier League Foundation head office is based in central London.
