Soccer History
Arsenal are the only Premier League side to visit Exploria Stadium in its short time of being open, however the venue is a popular host of international matches.
The SheBelieves Cup regularly holds matches at the Orlando-based stadium, including recently on February 16, 2023 with a double-header of Japan versus Brazil being followed by the USA against Canada.
Panama were the first international visitors to Exploria Stadium when they were beaten 4-0 by the U.S. men's national soccer team (USMNT) in a World Cup qualifier in October 2017.
Six group-stage fixtures were held at Exploria Stadium during the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The 2017 NWSL Championship and U.S. Open Cup finals were held in 2017 and 2022, respectively.
Notable Events
The 2019 Cure Bowl - a college football game - was the first non-soccer event held at Exploria Stadium. The same event returned in 2021 and 2022.
Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra became the first professional orchestra to perform a full concert in a U.S. soccer stadium in September 2020.
On June 5, 2022, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games was staged at Exploria Stadium.
