The Premier League places great importance on safeguarding and believes that everyone has the right to enjoy football and participate in our activities in safe and inclusive environments. Safeguarding means people and organisations working together to promote and protect the rights, safety and wellbeing of children and adults at risk.  Parents and carers play an important role in our safeguarding efforts. Play your part by empowering your child to understand their rights and available support, and by voicing any concerns you may have.

While safeguarding is every adult’s responsibility, the Premier League and member Clubs have dedicated safeguarding teams in place who can provide advice and who hold responsibility for leading the response to safeguarding concerns. Click here for more information.
