Fulham chalked up a third successive home league win beating Blackburn Rovers at Craven Cottage.
Erik Nevland put Roy Hodgson's men in front two minutes before the break. Bobby Zamora flicked on for him, then he exchanged passes with Damien Duff before firing past Paul Robinson at the near post.
Clint Dempsey moved up front to replace the injured Zamora and added a second on 67 minutes. Duff ran at full-back Pascal Chimbonda and curled in a cross that split the Blackburn defence and allowed Dempsey to tap home.
Dempsey got his second two minutes from time, controlling well and slotting home to seal the points and ensure the Cottagers moved above Rovers in the Barclays Premier League table.
