Arsenal are facing a challenging time ahead with defenders Kieran Gibbs and William Gallas joining the club's injury list.
The pair both picked up injuries during the Gunners' 2-0 victory over Standard Leige in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
During the match, Gibbs sustained a fractured metatarsal while Gallas picked up a knock to his ankle and a swollen eye.
The Gunners responded to Saturday's Barclays Premier League defeat to Sunderland with a comfortable win in Group H, securing their safe passage into the knock-out stages of the European competition, with goals from Samir Nasri and Denilson.

However, the result was clouded by the injuries to Gibbs and Gallas, who required attention after a clash of heads with team-mate Andrey Arshavin, in a challenge that left the Russian needing staples.
And while Arshavin is likely to be fit for Sunday's crucial match against Barclays Premier League leaders Chelsea, both of his defensive colleagues join a long list of injuries including the club's top goal scorer Robin van Persie and left-back Gael Clichy.
"Gallas has an ankle problem and a swollen eye. I think he will recover from the eye, and from the ankle we hope so [in time for Chelsea]," said Wenger, speaking after the match.
The news for Gibbs, who was injured after a strong challenge from Eliaquim Mangala, was not so positive.
"Gibbs is much more serious," continued Wenger. "It was a very bad challenge.
"We have to X-ray him and I think he has gone to hospital to check because he has a big hole in his leg. He doesn't look too good, and that is unfortunate."
