Roy Hodgson says he would be happy to sign a new contract with Fulham - should the club want him to.
Hodgson has been somehing of a revelation at Craven Cottage since joining the London club in December 2007.
He began by masterminding the club's successful escape from relegation in the 2007/08 season, before guiding the club to a seventh place finish in the Barclays Premier League and Europa League qualification the following term.
And after helping Fulham to such an impressive about turn in fortunes, the 61-year old has won more than his fair share of admirers.
Having recently been linked with the vacant national manager's posts in both Sweden and Norway, Hodgson has been quick to distance himself from such reports, saying he would have no problem extending his association with Fulham.
itchy feet
"Absolutely. There's no reason not to," he said.
"The thing would be to make sure they want me to.
"If I could feel they really want to continue along these lines, and they want me to be the man to do it, I don't have itchy feet at all."
While happy with the way things are going at Craven Cottage, Hodgson admits he is wary of hitting the 'ceiling' with a club punching above their weight.
He added: "It's worth bearing in mind. It stops you striving too hard for something you're not going to get. It keeps your feet more on the ground. Every season, out of 20 managers very few are going to come away with plaudits.
"I'm worried about ceilings, and I'm worried about the constant desire for progression.
"I know you've got to progress but you can start reaching too high, and in doing that you can destroy a little bit of the tradition of the club, the structure."
