Sir Alex Ferguson wants Manchester United to show more consistency as their season hits a crucial phase.
The Barclays Premier League champions quickly recovered from their defeat at Liverpool with a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
The Red Devils now must prepare for two important matches.
First up is the Champions League meeting with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday, which could see Ferguson's side secure their place in to the knock out phase.
great thing
Then on Sunday they take on fellow Barclays Premier League title rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. With the Blues leading United at the top of the table by only two points, an away win would see Ferguson's men overtake their rivals at the summit, and Ferguson knows consistency is key as his side continue with their title push.
Ferguson said: "It is a tough league. We are experienced enough at this club to know how difficult it is to win the league.
"It is not going to be any different this year. The great thing about us is that we know it is a difficult league.
"Mistakes are going to happen - you lose games you do not expect to lose. You go for consistency - and if we are in there in January we have a great chance."
