Christophe Berra believes Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will start firing Wolverhampton Wanderers up the table.
Ebanks-Blake netted his first Barclays Premier League goal in Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Aston Villa from the penalty spot.
The 23-year-old was prolific in helping Wolves claim promotion from the Championship last season.
A hamstring injury suffered on the opening day has curtailed his season and he finally got on the scoresheet after five matches without a goal.
more confidence
Defender Berra reckons Ebanks-Blake will be boosted by his efforts at the weekend and can start a scoring run.
"Sylvan has always been a goalscorer. He was just unlucky with a few injuries at the start of the season," said Berra.
"He had a couple of chances the week before against Everton and, hopefully, that goal against Villa will give him more confidence.
"He is not short of confidence but strikers do feed on goals and I am sure he will score a few goals in this league.
"If he is in the box, he will shoot and, if he gets half a chance, the majority of the time it ends up in the back of the net."
Wolves are fourth bottom in the table after gleaning nine points from their first 10 matches.
