Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has pleaded for patience with new signing Ronald Zubar.
The 23-year-old defender prepares for his first season in the Barclays Premier League after moving to Molineux from Marseille last month.
Ronald was on the bench for Saturday's pre-season match with Real Valladolid as Wolves suffered a 2-0 defeat.
McCarthy knows French U21 international Zubar will need time to adapt to his new surroundings as he settles to life in England.

"Ronald is finding it difficult in terms of communication and understanding and I recognise that because it happened to me the other way when I went to Lyon," McCarthy said.
"To be able to communicate better with your team-mates makes defending a lot easier and so he's found that a little bit difficult, but he's fine. He also started a bit later than the other lads and was a bit behind in terms of fitness so we need to get some games into him."
