A full round-up of the 2009 Barclays Asia Trophy in Beijing.
Tottenham Hotspur won the tournament after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Barclays Premier League rivals Hull City in the final. Robbie Keane scored twice, the second of which came from the penalty spot, before Aaron Lennon capped things off with a third against Phil Brown's men.
West Ham United ensured a positive finish to their trip to the Far East with a 2-0 win over Beijing Guoan in the third place play-off match at Beijing's Workers Stadium. Danny Gabbidon headed home in the 80th minute before substitute Zavon Hines added a second in injury time to complete the victory.

Tottenham were the first team through to the final after a 1-0 win over West Ham on Wednesday. Jermain Defoe's second-half goal after a mistake from Robert Green was just reward for a dominant Spurs side.
That set up a meeting with Hull City in the final. The Tigers drew 1-1 with host side Beijing Guoan but edged through 5-4 on penalties. Geovanni gave the Barclays Premier League club an early lead, but Paul William Modibo equalised for the Chinese.

saving penalties
In 2007, the last time the tournament took place, the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong featured Liverpool, Fulham, Portsmouth and South China FC.
Portsmouth beat Liverpool 4-2 on penalties to lift the trophy after a goalless draw in normal time, with Portsmouth goalkeeper David James saving penalties from Yossi Benayoun and Fernando Torres.
home support
Now an established part of the Premier League's fixture calendar, the Barclays Asia Trophy has been hosted in some of Asia's major cities - Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Hong Kong - and the Premier League is excited about the tremendous opportunity to bring the tournament to Beijing.
The Premier League not only hopes to give fans in Beijing the chance to see what a match between its clubs is like first hand, with all the passion, pace and skill involved, but to pass on some of its knowledge and expertise in running a successful competition that has grown to be internationally renowned.
The Premier League also committed a full programme of 'Creating Chances' activities, including coaching initiatives, refereeing schemes and community schemes that ran alongside the Barclays Asia Trophy 2009.
The Premier League also ran one of its innovative Premier Skills coaching courses as well as a Barclays Asia Trophy Creating Chances Community Programme for 10-13 year-old children. The Premier League worked in close partnership with the BFA on both initiatives.
