Phil Brown is confident Hull City's pre-season preparations will ensure another flying start to the season.
The Tigers began their maiden Barclays Premier League campaign in excellent fashion by winning eight of their first nine matches.
Although a woeful run in the second half of the campaign saw Hull pick up just two wins from their last 29 fixtures they survived on the last day.

Hull's summer plans include competing in this year's Barclays Asia Trophy in Beijing and Brown says his players will be raring to go when the season kicks off.
"When we come back from Beijing we'll have one (friendly) definitely and possibly a second," said Brown.
"That is all in the lead up to our second season in the Barclays Premier League and that is something that seems to roll nicely off the tongue.
"We're all looking forward to the season with renewed confidence. We took an awful lot of criticism towards the end of last season.
"However, the slate is wiped clean now and hopefully by the time we get to August 15th we'll have recharged our batteries and got ourselves back to the fitness levels required to hit the ground running again where the Barclays Premier League is concerned."
