Liam Lawrence is in contract talks with Stoke City, and wants to spend his best years at The Britannia Stadium.
The Republic of Ireland international became a key presence in the side as the season progressed.
His impressive midfield performances helped Stoke avoid relegation and the player is keen to extend his stay.

"I don't want to go anywhere," said the 27-year-old. "I want to stay at Stoke and spend the best four years of my life here. I have been trying to sort out a contract for a couple of weeks.
"I am just waiting to hear back from the club, but am hoping to get something resolved over the next few days."
Lawrence has two years remaining on his current contract with Stoke.
