West Ham United defender James Tomkins is relishing playing in the European Under-21 Championships.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a successful second half of the season for the Hammers after returning from a five-week loan spell at Derby County in December.
Tomkins has previously represented England at U15, U16, U17, U19 and U20 levels, while clubmate Mark Noble is also in the England U21 squad for this summer's championships.
"I am very proud," said Tomkins. "I was well chuffed when I received the call.

"It's obviously something I am very much looking forward to, joining up with the squad and hopefully getting the chance to represent my country at a higher level.
"It's exciting and all I hope is that I may get a chance and show what I can do."
