Geovanni looked to be heading out of the Barclays Premier League when he was released after just one season at Manchester City last summer, but he has been a revelation since joining the Tigers.

The 28-year-old signed a three-year deal with the promoted side and has been one of the stars in the club's superb start to the season, scoring six goals.

And Geovanni revealed not even his children would not let him return to his homeland now anyway.

He said: "It is the second year, the family are very happy now and they want to stay here.

"I have two sons here and they are very happy here. Sometimes I make some joke, 'Let's go back to Brazil,' and they say, 'No let's stay dad'."
