A review of the news from around the grounds of each Barclays Premier League club.
Arsenal
Theo Walcott has told England fans not to expect fireworks every time he wears the Three Lions. The 19-year-old was happy with his performance in the 5-1 win over Kazakhstan but knew he would be unlikely to repeat his hat-trick heroics from last month's famous success against Croatia. "I knew the fans would probably expect me to get another hat-trick, but it's not going to happen every game," he said."I just have to work hard and play as well as I can for the team - that is all you can do. Sometimes if it's not going for you it's not going to be your day. I take my `positives' out of the Kazakhstan game and concentrate on Belarus on Wednesday."
Aston Villa
Luke Young says playing out of his favoured right-back position is no problem for him. In recent matches he has been playing on the left for Villa, the position where he in fact started his career with Tottenham Hotspur. He said: "People will think that left-back is an unusual role for me but it's not at all. When I first started at Tottenham I was used mainly on the left and sometimes at centre-half. I hardly ever played at right-back because Stephen Carr was the Spurs first choice and he was in awesome form at the time. I played regularly on the left. I haven't done it for a few years but it is fine."

Chelsea
Didier Drogba has given an insight in to what goes through his mind when he plays as a lone striker for the Blues. With a reputation as one of the world's best at playing the one-man assault force, Drogba has revealed his constant determination to find the back of the net. He said: "I think about what I am going to do to escape my marker, what I am going to do to score goals. I actually think about the way I am going to score my goal - I close my eyes and try to imagine it and sometimes it doesn't happen. But most of the time when you get it in your head that you are going to score a certain kind of goal, it happens."
Everton
Midfielder Marouane Fellaini scored as Belgium recorded a 2-0 win against Armenia on Saturday. The club-record signing fired home the hosts' second seven minutes before half time, adding to Wesley Sonck's early opener. Meanwhile Joseph Yobo overcame a first-half own goal to help Nigeria to a convincing 4-1 victory against Sierra Leone.
Fulham
Fulham's U18 Academy side drew 1-1 with Arsenal at Motspur Park on Saturday. Gary Brazil's side took the lead against the league leaders thanks to a first half penalty by Danny Hoesen. They now face Charlton Athletic next Saturday at Motspur Park (K.O 11am).
Hull City

Liverpool
Fernando Torres feels England's top four are now the continent's elite force and admits domestic success will be just as difficult as winning the Champions League. "I believe we can win the Premier League or the Champions League," he said. "Arsenal produce great football, Liverpool and Chelsea are very difficult teams to play against and Man United played fantastically well last year. All the teams have different styles but are equally effective. I think the four biggest teams in England are now the best in Europe. We have a good chance of doing well but it won't be easy to finish above any of the other three sides."
Manchester City
Former England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Corrigan believes Joe Hart has all the attributes to make it to the top of the game. The 21-year-old made his debut for the Blues in October 2006 and has established himself as Mark Hughes' first choice stopper this season. Corrigan, now West Bromwich Albion goalkeeping coach, said: "Whenever I've heard Joe speak or read things he's said, he has come across as a level-headed character and that mental strength is a major asset for a goalkeeper. But he's got the ability too. He's got quick feet, he's tall, he's a good kicker and he's got good reflexes. He'll get stronger the older he gets. So if he handles the pressure in the right way, you never know what he can achieve."
Manchester United
Wes Brown has not given up on playing at centre-back for Manchester United. Brown carved out a niche for himself at right-back during Gary Neville's injury-enforced absence between March 2007 and the start of the current campaign, making the position his own for club and country. But Longsight-born Wes, who turned 29 on Monday, has not given up on reverting to his more natural central defensive role, even if the position is now the stronghold of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic. He said: "I wouldn't have thought I was settled at right-back for good. With Gary being out I was the main contender for that position. Now Gary's back, the gaffer can easily change it. If Vida or Rio are out, then he can put me at centre-back."
Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough full-back Andrew Taylor has bolstered Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 squad for Tuesday's match against Wales after making himself available following injury and suspension. Taylor, 23, has been struggling with a hip problem and was banned for the first leg of the European Championship play-off, which England won 3-2 at Ninian Park. Ahead of that encounter, Pearce had received a text message from Boro manager Gareth Southgate to declare Taylor fit for the match which could see England's youngsters reach next year's finals in Sweden.
Newcastle United
Goalkeeper Shay Given has praised interim manager Joe Kinnear for taking on the tough task of steadying the ship at Newcastle United. Kinnear emerged from his first match at the helm with a creditable 2-2 draw at Everton last weekend after his side initially fell two goals behind, ending a run of five successive defeats in the process. Given said: "I think Joe was obviously disappointed and angry with some of the stuff that was written about him because he didn't take charge of the game and he was kind of hammered from pillar to post. He needed to get a few things off his chest. He certainly did that, I suppose, but he can be judged on the Everton game and we got a point. It's a turbulent time at the club and Joe is only in for a couple of months, so he wants to get as many points and results as possible. We`ve got to give him credit for coming up to the club when it's in a bit of turmoil at the minute to try to get us moving back up the League."
Portsmouth
Portsmouth will not increase ticket prices for their glamour UEFA Cup match with AC Milan. The Italian giants are set to come to Fratton Park on 27th November, and chief executive Peter Storrie maintains fans will be charged the regular entry fee of £20 for adults. He said: "I promised people I would keep prices as they are and that's what I have done - not a lot of clubs would follow that in the light of drawing out AC Milan. But I made the decision pre-season that I wanted to get full capacities for games in Europe, so the prices have been kept low."
Stoke City
Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller praised his Jamaica team-mates after scoring the winner against Mexico which keeps alive their slim hopes of progressing in the World Cup qualifying campaign. Fuller got the only goal of the match in the 14th minute, sending his effort beyond goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez. He said: "It is always a good feeling personally as a striker to score a goal, especially to get an important goal. But it's not about me, it's about the entire football fraternity in Jamaica, it's about the players."
Sunderland
Martyn Waghorn could be set to make his comeback in Sunderland's friendly in Jersey on Monday. The South Shields-born striker has been out for two months with a cruciate knee injury. But he could make his return in Jersey after Neil Bailey named Waghorn in a 17-man squad for the Channel Islands trip. Sunderland will take on Jersey's senior Island team at the Springfield Stadium in St Helier on Monday night (7.30pm kick-off). Waghorn has been named in a youthful squad which includes two of Sunderland's Under-18s players - Michal Misiewicz and David Brown.
Tottenham Hotspur
Striker Darren Bent has voiced his support for Damien Comolli who scouts and signs players for head coach Juande Ramos to work with. Bent said of Comolli: "He's always around the place. He's a fantastic guy and one of the main reasons I came to Tottenham. There is no problem at the club with him whatsoever. He's been good; he is always helping the players - and that is what the players need."
West Bromwich Albion
Winger Chris Brunt is targeting a return to action in next Saturday's Barclays Premier League match against boyhood heroes Manchester United at Old Trafford. Brunt suffered a hamstring injury during the first half of the 2-1 home reversal by Aston Villa three weeks ago. It has ruled him out of Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifiers with Slovenia and San Marino but the former Sheffield Wednesday player is hopeful of facing the Red Devils. Brunt said: "The main thing is that the injury is not too bad and is coming along alright. With no game this week, it gives me a bit of extra time to get things sorted so I'm looking to get fit for next Saturday at Old Trafford. Injuries happen and I'm just glad I've only missed a couple of games against Middlesbrough and Fulham, touch wood - so that's a bonus. I was a Manchester United fan when I was a kid. Hopefully I'll make it for next week and, if selected, go out and enjoy it."
West Ham United
Craig Bellamy is looking to use Wednesday's international against Germany as a platform for West Ham United's trip to Hull City. The striker figured for Wales in their 2-0 win against Liechtenstein and now has his sights set on another run-out to improve his fitness. Although he did not score, the Wales captain was not too despondent - even with a missed penalty. It was his first start of the season after three club matches off the bench. He said: "To come off and feel I am ready to play on Wednesday is great. I have not had that in a long time to be able to play consecutive matches. Training does not prepare you for a game, which is different as it is about touch, turning - a completely different scenario. People say you need games to get into the rhythm. Hopefully this will help me become sharper ... hopefully the more I play in games and you will see a different scenario. You only get sharp with games and my game is based on sharpness. So the more games I get, the better I will be."
Wigan Athletic
Emile Heskey approaches his 50th England cap insisting a lack of international goals is not weighing on his mind. The 30-year-old, who is likely to reach the half-century mark against Belarus on Wednesday in Minsk, has just five England goals but his team-mates and head coach Fabio Capello have spoken in appreciation of the Wigan Athletic striker's overall contribution. Against Kazakhstan on Saturday Heskey had two efforts saved, two bundled away, and he also set up a late strike for substitute Jermain Defoe. He said: "Not scoring does not play on my mind. I was trying to get that goal at the end and I couldn't even get anything on it, even my hand. I'm going to carry on and hopefully that will come."
