Newcastle United have signed midfielder Ignacio "Nacho" Gonzalez on a season loan from Valencia.
The midfielder joined Valencia from Uruguayan outfit Danubio and signed a four-year contract, but immediately moved to the Magpies.
The 26-year-old, who has 21 caps for his country, had spent the last six months on loan at Monaco.

"Nacho Gonzalez has become a new player at Valencia for the next four seasons," read a statement on the Valencia website.
"The Uruguay international, who spent the last few seasons at Danubio and Monaco, will play on loan this season at the English side Newcastle."
