Guinea defender Kamil Zayatte has joined Hull City on loan from Young Boys for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old joined Young Boys in 2007 from Lens and has made 41 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
He featured for Guinea at the Africa Cup of Nations and can operate at at right-back, centre-back or defensive midfield.
ninth signing
Earlier this summer, Zayatte had a trial spell with Hull's Barclays Premier League rivals Newcastle United.
He becomes manager Phil Brown's ninth signing at the KC Stadium since Hull were promoted via the play-offs earlier this year.
Hull chairman Paul Duffen is waiting to hear from Manchester United after tabling a bid of £7million for Frazier Campbell. The striker helped fire the Tigers to promotion while on loan last season.
